Max Karlin has been with The Hastings Group since 2012, specializing in media relations, writing/editing, organizational management and event logistics. Prior to his work with The Hastings Group, he worked as an independent communications consultant and book dealer.

Clients love Max because he is personable and professional. He believes that the best communications firms begin their process not by talking, but listening. He has a strong writing and editing background, and he has worked extensively with journalism professionals both inside and outside the beltway. He leads all of The Hastings Group’s work with clients outside of the U.S. and globally. Max is primarily based in the Midwest, operating out of an office in Cleveland.
